See originally RPC I, 5449, where this type was considered as uncertain. Imhoof-Blumer (on the ticket under the coin) suggested reading either ]ƐΜΠΟΥ [ΑΚΜ]ΟΝΕΩΝ or AMAM [ ]ΣΜΕΝΗΣ. The type can be paralleled exactly at Hierocaesarea, but it is hard to make the visible letters into the ethnic of that city. -- I-B’ s attribution to Acmonea was questioned but turns to be right with 3168A/2, where the ethnic ΑΚΜΟΝΕΩΝ is clear. The name of the magistrate in the field is unclear, but certainly different from those already known.
