Note |
The monogram, which also occurs on Neronian coins of Aineias (2926–7), has been variously interpreted as standing for coronatus (Ramsay), ΚΟΡΝΗΛΙΟΣ (BMC) and ΑΡΧΟ (Wa) Κορ(νήλιος) is correct, as it is spelled out in full on coins of another Dioscurides (under Domitian: KM 266, nos 20–1, vA 3845).
