Note Waddington and Cop regarded the head as that of Dionysus; Imhoof-Blumer just called it a youthful head, followed by Robert, who also observed, 'la tête ressemble en tout cas à celle d'Auguste.' The ivy wreath, however, seems fairly clear; for the types, see introduction.
