The vA coin was catalogued in SNG vA as a coin of Trajan, but both the portrait and the legend seem to be of Domitian, as is now confirmed by 2. The rev. of 1 was described as 'Demeter, zu Füssen Schlange, der ihn gegenuberstehenden Homonoia, mit Polos und Füllhorn, die Hand reichend, zwischen ihnen Altar'. The snake is not clear from the illustration, and there is no snake on /2, but Demeter is likely enough, as she appears on other coins of this group (RPC II, 679). The identification of the other figure as Homonoia is derived from the legend, but this is not descriptive as other coins show (e.g. 676ff.); the polos is perhaps a mural crown, and a cornucopia is, of course, appropriate for Tyche. For another issue of Tyche, see RPC II, 683. However, the short chiton is not appropriate for Tyche.
