Rec (1st ed.) 170 read the date as CCCXU = CCCXL and interpreted it as 270/1 (= 340) with the comment: 'Ces deux pièces (nos 169 et 170 ont eté frappées après la mort de Gallien (mars 268).' This seems intrinsically unlikely, and CCCXXV seems more likely, as was decided for the second edition of Rec (165a), or even CCCXXX. Otherwise, the type is known for sure only for year 330. Both editions of Rec gave the obverse legend as IMP LIC AN GALLIENVS AVG. The reading here is that of Kubitsc.hek. The 'panther' looks more like a standing figure, as on https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/type/90068.
