Note I-B read ΛƐΥ[ΚΟΥΛΛ]ΟϹ, as on the similar coins of Caracalla https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/type/1326 and https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/type/72905) and Severus Alexander (https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/type/52202), interpreting the figure, with some hesitation, as L. Licinius Lucullus "zu dessen Ehren vielleicht die Abydener Kunstweke errichten liessen, die an seine Seesiege oder die Überlieferung des römischen Heeres nach Abydos vor dem Friedensschlusse (Appian, Mithr. 56) oder eine andere Tatem erinnern sollten".
