Note The portrait is not very suggestive of Elagabalus, but it is unlike others of Caracalla. As coins for Elagabalus (as opposed to Julia Maesa and perhaps Alexander Caesar) are not otherwise attested, this coin has been assigned to Elagabalus, although the absence of a value mark is surprising.
