Note An unconvincing coin. It looks tooled. The obv. legend is very odd for Elagabalus, and the reverse is nonsense and must have been altered from something else. The identifications of the cult statues is taken from the sale catalogue description. If correct, then the coin would be intended to be an alliance coin of Sardis and Ephesus.
