Note | E. Chiricat comments: 'To be translated Iuventius Celsus pres(byteros) = Iuventius Celsus the Elder; πρεσβευτής καὶ ἀντιστράτηγος = legatus pro praetore is also possible, even though Perinthos was a Greek city. It all depends on the local habit, which I am not familiar with.' |
