Note The date AN (51) on the reverse points towards a city of the former Pontus Polemoniacus, annexed under Nero in AD 64/65, and to Megalopolis Sebasteia. One other definite coin for the city is known so far (RPC 2938), also struck in ET AN (AD 114/5) and referring on the reverse to L. Catilius Severus Iulianus Claudius Reginus, legatus Augusti pro praetore of Cappadocia and Armenia between 114/5 and 116/7. What can be deciphered from the reverse inscription of this coin - [ ]Λ CEO[ ] – points to Catilius Severus
