Note | Original comment: "The portrait is Titus rather than Vespasian (so Imhoof-Blumer, ZfN 20 (1897), p. 276, no. 5) or Domitian. But this is very uncertain". Now corrected to Vespasian with full obv. inscription, in the light of the new specimens. See also 2431A for a coin with the name Nemeonikos, showing that the translation given in RPC II (Nemean victor) is incorrect and the word should just be regarded as a name. |
