The V specimen was attributed by Svoronos to Cydonia (Sv 116) with the qualification that it could have been struck at Gortyn or Eleutherna. An attribution to Hierapytna seems more likely as the legends are in the nominative (not the dative) case and the die axis is at twelve (not six) o'clock.
