Note | Original comment: "An attribution to Elaea seems plausible, in view of the reverse type. - Specimen 2 does not help deciphering the legends, though the reverse one might now be completed in ΕΠΙ ΤΡΩΙΛΟΥ ΑΓΡΙΟΥ, but this is not certain. However the reading ΕΠΙ ΤΡΩΙΛΟΥ ΝΕΟΥ (Leschhorn, Lexikon) must be excluded". Specimens 4 and 5 offer the definite reading of the reverse. |
