As proposed by A.M. Faria, R. P. Arq. 9.2, 2006, 225, the reading MANL is more suitable for the nomina of both magistrates than MAL, because the sloping position of the vertical stroke of letter L, whose lower part is in contact with the lower right stroke of A.
