The reading of the rev. legend ([ ]ΦΡƐΙΝΟΥ) and the attribution are extremely uncertain. A similar bull appears on Tavian coins of Titus Caesar (BMC 7), though the position of the tail is different. On the other hand, the general pose of the bull and particularly the positioning of the head is very similar. The coin was bought in Aleppo; this does not discredit a Galatian attribution, since, for instance, Seyrig reported frequently seeing specimens of 3562 in Syria.
