Note 1–2: same dies (probably). The portrait is very reminiscent of the portrait on Tiberian denarii (for copies of denarii or aurei at Balbura, see 3355) and is probably that of Tiberius, but this is not at all definite. A recent specimen (Schulten 18.10.1989, lot 425) is reported to have ΤΙΒ on the obv., though this is not clear from the illustration.
