Note The reverse legend of /1 is misread in the auction catalogue, but the obverse is a variant from the usual ΚΛΑΥΔΙΟΣ ΚΑΙΣΑΡ. This suggests, in turn, that the coins signed by Pythes and Dioscourides (RPC I, 2901-11) should perhaps be reattributed to Claudius.
