Note | The correct reading of the reverse legend is ΕΠI ΤI ΑΤΤIΟΥ..., as given by G. Stumpf, Numismatische Studien zur Chronologie der Römischen Statthalter in Kleinasien (1991), no. 295. As a result we know that the proconsul’s praenomen was Tiberius. —— Corr: with coin 2, both obverse and reverse legends are now complete. |
