Note | Formerly RPC I, 2294. Original comment: "The legend to the l. of the head on 1 seems to read ΚΑΙϹ[ (retrograde). That on the r. of the head on 2 seems to read ΚΑΙΑΡ (Ρ retrograde). The portrait suggests Augustus, but the coin is very different from 2284–7." The Concordia coin allows the attribution to Trajan. |
