Note Only 1 obv. die? The attribution to Berytus seems very likely, though not absolutely certain, in the absence of more provenances or a more diagnostic rev. type. For the spelling CAISAR, see introduction and 4547 (Claudius). The attribution to Berytus is confrimed by the 􏰕􏰘􏰒presence of 2 specimens in the Beirut excavations (Butcher pp. 60 and 145 nos 358-9).
