He is known from inscriptions as a priest of the imperial cult in the late first and early second century (see IStratonikeia 171, 185, 183, and https://www.pretres-civiques.org/pretre/flavius-diomedès). It has been suggested that his name appears on at Stratonicea under Marcus Aurelius - see C. Lemercier, Le monnayage provincial romain de Stratonicée en Carie (Ier-IIIe siècles p.C.): étude de numismatique et d’histoire (doctoral thesis, Université Savoie Mont Blanc, 2024) [open access version https://theses.hal.science/tel-04957496v1 dated 19/02/2025], p. 218 - but the coin in question is one of Seleucia and does not mention Diomedes (cf. https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/coin/459588), so the early second century seems the most plausible date.
