Note | Formerly RPC I, 5445. Probably an alliance coin of Sardis and Hypaepa. A Sakantes is attested at Hypaepa (2537A-2538), and the accusative inscription also suggests the same attribution. If this attribution is correct, we can now add that Sakantes was the strategos. On coin 2, the reverse inscription giving name of the city in alliance with Sardis is unfortunately again obscured, but o /3 it seems to begin with a Υ, and possibly ΥΠ[ ].
