Note A coin in P, with the same obv. die as 5, has been altered so that the rev. legend reads ΔΟΚΙΜΕΩΝ ΜΑΚƐΔΟΝΩΝ (P 985 = Wa 5955; see F1398). Presence of stags on such an early coin is surprising, see Fleischer, pp. 112-3.
