Note The portrait appears to have an aegis, and be the same die as that used for Syrian tetradrachms of year 2 (AD 98/9): see Butcher, CRS, pp. 83-4 and fig. 21.3; but he did not have access to the DS rubbings which show that D938 also seems to be the same die, though the aegis is not visible.
