The obverse die of the Paris specimen has an unusual treatment, with a minimal representation of the paludamentum and cuirass. This die was otherwise used only in year 9. For that year, however, the date is normally written as L ƐΝΑΤΟV to avoid using a Θ. The L occupies the left of the field and it is a little hard to imagine the rest of the date fitting on the right side. It is possible that Θ was used on the smallest AE 12 denomination (https://rpc.ashmus.ox.ac.uk/type/23234) but the attribution of that coin is far from certain. The Breitsprecher specimen is very worn but seems to have traces of an Η to the right of the reverse. So dating to year 8 is the perhaps the more plausible solution.
