Note Assuming the rubbing in DS is correctly paired with D 3104 bis, Dattari read the obverse as ΑVΤ Κ Τ ΑΙΛ [ and the date as ending in a Β. The obverse is paralleled in years 17, 19 to 21, and possibly 24. From the rubbing it looks as though the date might end in a Ζ, so year 17 is plausible but not certain. An eagle with wings spreading is not otherwise known for the reign of Pius for this denomination.
