1	1 ✸			NY: 1944.100.58355		34.2	17.43	12	year uncertain and obv. very worn; not certainly a coin of Hadrian. The ticket says ‘Emperor LE or L Γ’. The figure wears a short tunic, so either the Emperor in military dress or a deity such as Artemis. The figure does seem to hold a Nike; but only Athena commonly holds a Nike in Hadrian’s reign, and her dress always goes down to her feet. Very occasionally Zeus holds a Nike, but he would not be shown with a short tunic	Show
