Note Original comment: "Confirmation required: attribution to Nicopolis is tentative. The date would 'fit' and a similar rev. with Nike occurs for Trajan (RPC 2942); 'Nike' = 'Nikopolis' (in part)? Year 56 would be AD 126/7. There seems to be no ethnic: perhaps because it is a small denomination?". The new specimen reads ΝƐΟΚΑΙ.
