Note The coin in L with legend ΑΥΤΟΚ ΚΑΙΣ ΣΕΒΑ ΟΥΕΣΠΑΣΙΑΝΟΥ and rev. Τ ΦΛΑΥΙ ΟΥΕΣΠΑΣΙΑΝΟΣ ΚΑΙΣ; laureate head of Titus, r. (BMC 224), was originally catalogued as being a coin of year 4. Buttrey, Chronology p. 10 and Christiansen, p. 3 regard its as a misread coin of year 1, providing evidence that Vespasian used the title sebastos before 28 August 69. But the date could equally well be year Β (see introduction), and so the coin is not accepted here as a coin of year 1.
