Note AR 79%. 6 coins, 4 obv. dies. The variant ending GERM to the obv. legend occurs on a specimen in NY, 3.59. There is an old forgery with this rev. type and with the obv. legend NERO CAESAR AVGVSTVS. Specimens, all from the same dies, occur in gold (V 20051, 7.55, Mu C.17, 7.56) and silver (V forgeries, cf. Mionnet 4.410.18). The falsity of the coins is evident from the style (e.g., of the rev. figure) and the 6 o'clock die axis.
