Note Lucius Livius Rufinus was supposedly proconsul of Achaea, but he was only known from the previous reading of these coins. But this reading did not make sense: there is no ΡΟΥΦΙΝΟϹ nor ΛΙΟΥΠΟϹ. The correct reading seems to be ΛΑΙΟΥ(Ι)ΝΟⳞ ΑΝΘΥΠΑΤΟⳞ: Laevinus proconsul (by iotacism, ae can be transliterated αι). For the name, see PIR L 71. New reading of this proconsul by J. Mairat.
Correction Corrected coin-type (post publication)
