The correct reading is clear on coin 1; its sense, indicating the person who introduced a motion, was discussed by Robert. Older discussions, which rely on coins 3-4, incorrectly give reading of legend probably as αἰτησάμενος. Without obv. inscription, it would not have been possible to identify head as that of Domitian ('ohne Porträtähnlichkeit': Imhoof-Blumer, KM p. 144, no. 4).
