Die Rückseite zeigt den göttlichen Nothelfer Sozon (= der Rettende), auf den die Menschen des südlichen Kleinasien in allen ihren Nöten ihre Hoffnung setzten. Wegen dieser Funktion des Gottes wurde die Münze gelocht und als Amulett getragen.
