Note date not certain. The obv indicates years 17-21, and it looks like L I[ ], perhaps L IH. If it is the Curtis coin (see below: this seems likely as several Curtis coins were acquired by this collection), the date was perhaps clearer before the coin was cleaned. Probably ex Curtis: ‘AE DRACHM – J2k2 – Nilus bust r. : to r. LIH’: Curtis’ annotated copy of Milne. Curtis was explicit that the coin was unpublished (‘UNPUB’), although when he wrote the Nilus bust coins of years 19 and 20 were unpublished; and was in good condition (‘XF’ = extremely Fine); he numbered it, following Milne’s sequence, as 1423-X, placing it in the correct alphabetical place among coins of year 18.
