Note ex Tiepolo 3008. A. Barb, review of Vogt, NZ 17 (1924), pp. 109-14, at p. 112, no. 37 refers to this tetradrachm as ‘Nil auf Krokodil, LKA (Δ?)’. One would have expected that the coin would be a misread one of year 22, when the design is normal. But it does indeed look most like L Κ Δ, which must presumably be KA. But perhaps the Δ has been tooled from a Β, as the surface of the coin does not look very original.
