Emmett 1199 (22) = Emmett p. 288 no. 6, described as ‘ex CNG, described as year 11’. But the date seems uncertain, and it might be another coin of year 20 (6129), though with a left facing bust. The reading Κ Β in exergue ('in ex.') seems to depend on having the coin rotated 180 degrees: what might be the Κ and the Β are probably the leaves or stalks coming out of the top of the pomegranate, as seems to be the case on the other pomegranate coins, the coin of year 20 and the one of the Pelusion nome of year 11 = 6533. On the other hand the obv. is similar to 6258 and 6259. |
