Note This sestertius is in the P trays, among the Roman sestertii, but it is alien to the production of Rome. Its style might suggest an African origin(compare, e.g., the Tiberian coinage of Colonia lulia Pia Paterna: 762-70); the rev. type, a helmeted head(?), occurs on the coinage of Cercina(802). Therefore a Byzacenian origin is suggested here.
