Note	The object in the templewas previously interpreted as Φ =year 9, but see Meshorer, pp. 44-5. Itlooks like a shield. Meshorer observes that, as Livia is called Sebaste, thedate of the coin must be after AD 14; he also points out that ΕΠΙ is notused on Philip's coinage until year 30 = AD 26/7, so the coin shouldperhaps date no earlier than that year. Livia appears on the coinage ofyear 34 = AD 30/1 (RPC I, 4949), and this coin should perhaps date to the sametime. In view of the date, the male portrait should probably be interpreted as that of Tiberius. // Corr.: full reading of obv. legend.
