Note | The very worn P FG 1691, which seems to have [L I]Θ, is probably a coin of Trajan. The design occurs for Trajan’s year 19 with L ΙΘ (e.g. D1082, with the bust seen from rear), and on the Trajanic coins Zeus holds a thunderbolt rather than a patera, as on the coins of Hadrian: on P FG 1691 it looks more like a thunderbolt than a patera. |
