probably contemporary with GIC 331, but applied to the larger denominations. On several of the coins the portrait of Domitian has been erased. It is not clear whether the countermarking took place before or after the erasure. There was probably no direct likn between the countermarking and the erasure as some coins are countermarked but not erased and no coins with GIC 3331 were erased.
