Note The rubbing is so unclear that even the identification of the emperor is not certain, although clearly Antonine. In the Antonine period the reverse type is otherwise known only for drachms of year 5 of Marcus. Radiate heads of Marcus facing right are also known for AE 27 of that year. So dating to year 5 of Marcus is reasonable but by no means sure. Nike seated l. had been used for the AE 27 denomination under Trajan and Hadrian.
