Seyrig based his attribution on ill- preserved specimens to year 4 of Tiberius. In 2006, A. Ronde published a coin belonging to his collection on which the date L Δ/Ν (54) was clear and also attributed the coin to the reign of Tiberius, dating it according to the Actium era to AD 23/24. On the specimen auctioned by CNG 75, N is absolutely clear and is likely followed by another letter, probably a Τ, which gives the year 354 of the Seleucid era, making this coin of Claudian date (AD 42/3), an attribution confirmed by Claudius' portrait on the obverse.
