Note M. Blanco and J. A. Sáez, GN 138, 2000, have proposed that this is a hybrid coin with an Orippo obv., and an Irippo rev., in view of the similarity of the style of the female head whith that used in the latest Orippo issues. However, we prefer to think that the legend should be restored as [I] RIPP[O] and that what is unusual is the female head, probably copied from a coin minted by Orippo (CNH, 394, no. 4-7) on which the legend is always on the rev
