Note Close examination of the coin confirms the ending -ΩΝ rather than -ΑΝ, thus excluding the possibility of the coin belonging to Heraclea in Pontus (note also the absence of a reference to Pontus, normal for the coins of Heraclea in Pontus). Thus it seems reasonable to regard this as a unique coin of Heraclea Salbace for Alexander, minted long after the previous known issue (Macrinus), and representing the last issue of Heracles Salbace.
