Note Some Υ forms. Dattari describes the head on D 3741 as having an aegis and lion's head (?) behind. These seem rather to be blocked letters (the first Λ and last Α of the inscription). No other portrait of Verus of this year has an aegis, and no portrait at all has a lion's head.
