Note The two figures hold sceptres. Dattari perhaps thought one of the figures was Demeter, to judge from the location of DS6995 on pl. 37, but it seems unlikely that Demeter would be shown in an elephant quadriga. Christiansen, RCA p. 153, following Mionnet, identified the figures as Sarapis and Isis; so also, DS Supp 108. This seems plausible. The disposition of the elephants is different on the very much more worn coin in A.
