Anokhin sees a male figure and identifies him as Hercules (Anokhin² 2020, 2024), probably influenced by the earlier coins of Sauromates II. The problem is made difficult by the very poor craftsmanship of the coins, but a male figure is indeed a possibility on some dies. The figure is probably the usual goddess on Anokhin² 2025 and 2028. Anokhin² 2027 is doubtful (tooled coin?). 1 Cracow SNG 519 8.05 21 12 1 no no no [show] [edit]
