Statius Flaccus is sometimes said to have the praenomen L; but no coin has been seen which clearly has this letter, and there is definitely no praenomen on 12. -- See also Martini, Sicilia nos. 111-133 (accepting the inclusion of the praenomen L), and now on 627, above. Some specimens appear to have part of one of the duovir’s names in the wreath: Martini 128-30, 129 curiously seeming to read ]STA B[. One (at least) has a star behind Augustus’ head (Martini 132).
