1 example found at Priene (B). 2 obv. dies. The reverse is regarded by Hahn, Frauen p. 327 no. 57 as possibly being a representation of ‘Livia? als Artemis’, but while the figure is identified as Artemis (a standard deity on the coinage of Magnesia) by the bow and quiver, it is not surprising that her hairstyle is like that of Livia.

The first part of reverse legend should probably be restored to read ΛƐΥΚΟΦΡΥϹ (as on RPC II, 1146), or perhaps (less likely) ΛƐΥΚΟΦΡΗΝΗ (RPC I, 2701).

Coins 1-2 and 6 were not known to Schultz. She does not include the coin described by Imhoof-Blumer in the Historisches Museum, St Gallen, with the same types but with a much larger flan at 33 mm / 14.87 g (see RSN 34, 1948/49, p. 12, no. 41 with pl. II, 41). It has the right diameter for the larger denomination, but the weight is rather low, suggesting the alternative possibility that it might just be a standard coin on an unusual broad flan.
