Roman Provincial Coinage Online

Tutorials

The tutorials are intended to show by way of guided examples how to use the iconographic, the identification and the advanced searches. They assume an increasing knowledge of the material and of this website. It is therefore recommended that you work through them in order.

When you get to “Searching the database” in each tutorial, it will help if you can refer to the step-by-step instructions while you work through them. We recommend that you either print the tutorial pages for reference, or open them in a separate web browser window. To maximise screen space, you can hide the side bar in this window — use the Hide sidebar button.
